Rega have pioneered the use of lightweight rigid plinths. Clever use of lightweight particulate core with a highly rigid phenolic resin skin became the foundations of the high level of performance achieved by the now iconic original Planar range.
The new Planar 2 uses this new lightweight acrylic laminated plinth. The plinth, coupled with the excellent RB220 tonearm, Carbon MM or ND3 cartridge and a 10mm float glass opti-white platter makes the Planar-2 a superb performer without breaking the bank. Utilising Rega's low noise, low vibration 24V motor and including the latest Advanced EBLT drive belt, the Planar-2 offers you so much more vinyl enjoyment.
Available with hi-gloss Black, White & Red plus Walnut "effect" plinths and either Carbon or Nd3 MM cartridges factory fitted.
