INTRODUCING THE NEW REGA NAIA ON THURSDAY 07 DECEMBER 2023 FROM 3PM
Rega have been making turntables from their inception in 1973, starting with the Planet, followed by the Planar. Then, in 1976, along came the now infamous Planar-3 and, from then on, Rega's business simply went from strength to strength.
In 2017, Roy Gandy & his team started work on their "test bed" turntable, the Naiad. Only 50 examples of the Naiad turntable will ever be made, available to order for £29,999. But the fruits of this, Rega's advanced development project, have affected the design of all of their subsequent turntables, from the entry level Planar-1 right through to the skeletal Planar-8 & Planar-10.
After making an appearance at the Bristol HiFi Show back in February, the latest design to be added to Rega's turntable range is the impressive Naia. Taking the best elements of the Naiad and creating a production ready version was their aim. And Rega have certainly achieved their goal with the Naia. We have had the turntable here at Basically Sound for a few weeks now and can only say that it is absolutely superb. Coupled with Rega's "Reference" Aphelion-2 MC cartridge and Aura phono stage, the Naia holds nothing back and simply lets the music flow.
So, would you like to hear the Naia for yourself and to learn more about the its design from Rega themselves, courtesy of their UK sales manager Rob Noble? If so, then we are pleased to be hosting an event on Thursday 07 December with demonstrations starting at 3PM and going into the early evening. Feel free to bring along an LP or two of your own and we will endeavour to play a few favourite tracks for you during the demonstration sessions.
If you are interested in attending this event, please simply click on the "Turning The Tables With Rega" link below or call us on 01362 820800, letting us know which of the demonstration sessions you wish to attend, whether at 3PM, 5PM or 7PM.
As is invariably the case with our events, we do anticipate there to be a high level of interest in this event, so please don't delay as spaces are limited for each of the three sessions. We will confirm your place/s accordingly by email.
And, as always, light refreshments will be provided.
