ABOUT THE MUSIC
YOU CHOOSE...
THE MUSIC OF GLASTONBURY 2024

One of the world's most iconic music festivals was held over the last weekend of June and we thought we'd delve into the artists and the music played at this year's Glastonbury Festival of Contemporary Performing Arts (to give it its full name).

Originally started in 1970 by Michael Eavis on his farm in Somerset, this festival has grown to become something very special indeed, with over 20 performance areas, hundreds of artists taking part and sell out audiences of over 130,000 people, along with charitable "Worthy Causes" at its core as well.

Having decided upon this theme and given what's involved we decided that, rather than giving ourselves the challenge of working through the extensive line-up of artists and sorting through the numerous tracks that could be played, we thought we'd get you to do the hard part of the work and choose these for us.

If you would like to attend we would ask you to propose TWO tracks by any of the artists who played at this year's festival. They do not necessarily have to be tracks that were played during their set but, if they are, then that's even better. To help, here's a link to this year's Glastonbury Festival line-up : Glastonbury24 Artist Line-Up

As always, places are strictly limited to ensure that everyone has a seat. If you would like to attend, we would be grateful if you could either click on this "Book My Place" link or call us on 01362-820800 to reserve your place/s. **

We will then email to confirm your place/s on Monday 8th July to allow sufficient time for everyone to respond. As is so often the case with our About The Music evenings, we expect this evening to be popular, so please don't delay in replying if you do wish to attend.

Light refreshments will, as always, be provided.

We look forward to hearing from you.

** Please note that, with limited spaces available and our wish to allow each & every one of our customers a chance to attend these events, we will give priority to those wishing to attend who did not come along to our previous About The Music event unless numbers allow. We will also run a "reserves" list should any spaces become available nearer the day of the event.
