Naim Release A New Icon

23rd May 2023

To celebrate Naim's 50th anniversary (1973 - 2023) and all the years of shared passion for sound, they pay homage to their original & iconic NAIT integrated amplifier. Made in England, the NAIT 50 is presented in a limited-edition of 1973 pieces. So don't delay if you are interested - available to order now... AND NOW AVAILABLE ON DEMO HERE AT BASICALLY SOUND

Naim's all new limted edition NAIT 50 is the worthy successor of the iconic NAIT, their compact integrated amplifier released in 1983.

Every part of the NAIT 50 has been redesigned. It is a ‘big box’ audiophile Naim integrated, albeit in a small box. Some of the new features on this anniversary edition include a new discrete transistor headphone amplifier, along with 0.5W standby power consumption and, like the original, no remote control!

Behind its sleek design, NAIT 50 also delivers top-notch sound quality. With 25W of power per channel with peaks of 225W, alongside three analogue inputs, including a discrete transistor MM phono stage: NAIT 50 combines power, performance, and versatility. It reproduces the most exacting dynamics with all the confidence and authority you have come to expect from a Naim amplifier. It can be linked with all loudspeaker types along with a variety of sources, for the ultimate hi-fi system.

Naim products are designed to be both contemporary and timeless. Their creations forgo any unnecessary adornments that detract from performance and sound quality. Handcrafted in the Naim workshops, NAIT 50 benefits from uncompromising design quality and presents a meticulous aesthetic. The front panel combines tradition and modernity, with a nod to the design codes of the original NAIT.

Basically Sound have ordered a batch of NAIT 50 amplifiers and they are now becoming available. With only 1973 examples to be available worldwide, the NAIT 50 looks like it will prove to be an extremely popular product. So do not delay & get in touch if you want to secure yourself a new Naim "icon".
